If in effort to improve our website we began searching for a design company with the capability to keep us on the cutting edge of technology while keeping to our requirements of being user friendly for our visitors.

After accessing the capabilities of several Real Estate Website design companies nationwide and Canada we decided to go with The Brokers Edge out of Columbia Missouri.

I have known the founders of The Brokers Edge for quite some time now through various real estate forums but had no idea of the functionality their websites and applications offered.

It seems as though The Brokers Edge has decided to go against the industry norm and transition away from proprietary expensive websites that require vendor maintenance in favor of Open Source applications that REALTORS® can operate and maintain themselves.

They have taken a popular free Open Source application called WordPress and have set it up as a CMS (content management system) for real estate sites.

In addition to leading the way in building WordPress Real Estate Websites I discovered that they have been busily programming WordPress plugins as free tools for REALTORS®. Since this type of thinking and service is such a departure from the industry norm I was compelled to do further research.

It did not take long to figure out what was driving the “high service low cost” business model of The Brokers Edge. As it turns out the Founders are all REALTORS®. The main programmer is a licensed REALTOR® from a family of REALTORS®. That explains why the system is better, offers more functionality and is reasonably priced. They understand the real estate industry. It really is that simple.

So we are proud to announce that our new website at DreamHomesDallas.com was designed and hosted by The Brokers Edge family.
